Gemstone & Runestone
The Gemstone and Runestone system allows you to enhance your character by socketing items that grant additional skills and bonuses. Each slot has specific requirements, so understanding how it works is important before upgrading.
Gemstone Types There are three types of Gemstones:
Red
Blue
Green
Each type provides different skills depending on the gemstone used.
Runestone Types There are also three types of Runestones:
Attack
Support
Boost
Like Gemstones, each Runestone type grants different effects and abilities.
Unlocking Slots
Before socketing, you must first unlock a Gemstone/Runestone slot.
This can be done using a Blessed Socket Stone.
How to Obtain Blessed Socket Stones
Blessed Socket Stones can be crafted through Aetherforging (Shift + P).
You need Socket stone to craft Blessed Socket Stones. Socket Stones can be obtained in Daily Camp Quest in Levinshor.
When you unlock a Gemstone or Runestone slot:
A carving will appear on the slot.
This carving determines which type of Gemstone or Runestone can be inserted.
Unique Slots
There is a small chance to unlock a Unique Slot.
Unique Slots can accept any type of Gemstone/Runestone, regardless of color.
Socketing Rules
You can only socket items that match the slot’s carving.
Example:
A Green Gemstone slot can only accept Green Gemstones.
You cannot insert Red or Blue Gemstones into that slot.
The same restriction applies to Runestones.
If you obtain the wrong slot type, you can use a Socket Reset Stone to reset the Gemstone slot.
There is also a chance to obtain a Blessing +1 or +2 upon opening a slot. If you wish to reroll for a Blessing +1 or +2, you may use a Socket Reset Stone to reset the slot and open it again.
How to Obtain Socket Reset Stones
Socket Reset Stone can be crafted through Aetherforging (Shift + P).
You can also obtain it on boss drops.
You need Honorable Overdose Marks and Experience Marks to craft them.
Honorable Overdose Marks can be obtained from Daily Camp Quests in Levinshor.
Experience Marks can be obtained through the Rebirth System, boss drops, or by extracting EXP using an Experience Extraction Tool.
How to get Gemstone/Runestone?
You can obtain Gemstones and Runestones by farming Gemstone/Runestone Shards. Once you collect 100 shards, you can combine them for 1 Gemstone or Runestone.
Gemstone/Runestone shards can be obtain in Boss drops and Rebirth System.
You can also obtain Gemstone and Runestone in Boss drops.
Enchanting Gemstone and Runestone
To enchant gemstone and Runestone you need Ancient Refining Stone.
How to obtain Ancient Refining Stone?
You can obtain Ancient Refining Stone by farming Refining Stone Dust. Once you collect 100 dusts, you can combine them for 1 Ancient Refining Stone.
Refining Stone Dust can be crafted through Aetherforging (Shift + P).
You can craft it using:
[BCM] Legendary Enchantment Stone
Forging Tonic of Refinement
Both materials can be purchased from the Renown Shop.
Refining Stone Dust can also be obtained by extracting the following items using an Extraction Solvent:
Legendary Dark Talon Accessories and Feather Accessories
Ultimate Noble Gilded Accessories and Feather Accessories
Ultimate Fierce Aurate Sky Accessories and Feather Accessories
Ultimate Dark Talon Accessories and Feather Accessories
Ultimate Sovereign Accessories and Feather Accessories
Extraction Solvent can be purchased from the Renown Shop and can also be obtained from Lugbug missions reward and Boss drops.
How Gemstone/Runestone Enchanting Works
When enchanting a Gemstone:
Successful Enchant
The enchant level increases by +1.
There are no critical successes or bonus procs.
Failed Enchant
The enchant level decreases by -1.
There is also a 10% chance for the Gemstone to become Corrupted.
Corrupted Gemstones/Runestone
If a Gemstone becomes Corrupted:
The enchant level will remain the same.
However, the Gemstone must be cleansed before enchanting again.
How to Dispel a Corrupted Gemstone/Runestone
To cleanse a Corrupted Gemstone/Runestone, you need:
Ancient Sanctity Potion
How to Obtain Ancient Sanctity Potion
You can obtain Ancient Refining Stone by farming Sanctifying Dust. Once you collect 100 dusts, you can combine them for 1 Ancient Sanctity Stone.
Sanctifying Dust can be crafted through Aetherforging (Shift + P).
You can craft it using:
[BCM] Legendary Enchantment Stone
Forging Tonic of Purification
Both materials can be purchased from the Renown Shop.
Sanctifying Dust can also be obtained by extracting the following items using an Extraction Solvent:
Gemstones
Runestones
Extraction Solvent can be purchased from the Renown Shop and can also be obtained from Lugbug missions reward and Boss drops.
